Twin Cities Orthopedic's employee recognition program, Be The Difference (BTD), was in need of a refresh. Be The Difference is a recognition program where coworkers are able to nominate one another for exemplifying one of the company's core values. Each month there are three BTD winners selected, two individuals and one team.
The ask was to use the TCO brand and push the box against something that could come across as "corporatey". Having worked in this brand for nearly three years, this was a fun and exciting challenge to see what was possible.
As a marketing team, we brainstormed what the elements of this refreshed campaign could be. We landed on an informational z-fold to be mailed to each employee's house, educating them on the simple steps to Be The Difference.
Additionally, to keep BTD top of mind, we created a badge to add to employees' badge reels that includes a QR code linking to the nomination form. When an employee is nominated by a coworker for one of the values, they receive a sticker from their manager to place over the coordinating value.
